Florida Concealed Carry Permit
Applying by Mail
- Download a copy of the application from https://licensing.freshfromflorida.com/forms/FormsRequest790.aspx
- Contact your local law enforcement agency to submit fingerprints electronically or using the traditional hard-card method.
- Mail your completed application to the Department of Agriculture with the following documents:
- A passport-style photo taken within the last 30 days
- A photocopy of your firearms training certificate
- If you have ever been arrested, you will need certified copies of the court documentation reflecting the final disposition of the charge(s) filed against you
- A complete and legible set of fingerprints or a copy of your receipt for your electronic fingerprint submission
- Check or money order for the fee
- FDACS has 90 days after receipt of a complete application to either issue a license or deny an application.
Applying Online
Gather the following documents:
- A digital, passport-style photo taken within the last 30 days
- Firearms training certificate
- If you have ever been arrested, you will need certified copies of the court documentation reflecting the final disposition of the charge(s) filed against you.
- Complete the online application and pay the fee.
- Within 90 days of submitting your online application, you must submit your fingerprints.
- You will be notified by mail if your application has been approved.

Arizona Concealed Carry Permit
If you meet the qualifications to obtain a concealed weapons permit:
- Complete a firearms safety training course or meet one of the exemptions outlined in the previous section.
- Complete the Concealed Carry Weapons Permit application below.
- Return the application with:
- Two completed fingerprint cards
- Certificate or document demonstrating firearms competence
- Payment of $60 (money order, cashier’s check or certified check payable to the AZ DPS)
- Allow the AZ DPS approximately 75 days to notify you by mail if your application has been approved.

Maryland Wear and Carry Permit
To apply for a Maryland Wear/Carry Handgun Permit (WCHP):
- Go to the Maryland State Police Licensing Portal.
- Click “Create My Account” (or “Log In” if you already have an account).
- Once your account is activated, click “Start HGP” to begin your application.
- Complete all components to the application.
- All required items must be submitted electronically. These items include:
A copy of your firearms training certificate
Photo
Fingerprint receipt number
- You will be prompted to attach your items at the correct time.
